A Florida Mini Cow Built on Care and Experience

We are a family-operated Florida mini cow farm in Southeast Volusia County, with over 30 years spent caring for land and livestock.

Over decades on this farm, we’ve focused on developing miniature cattle that are balanced, healthy, and well-suited to Florida’s climate — cows we’re proud to see grazing our pastures every day.

The Florida Aberdeen Mini is a beautifully proportioned, easy-keeping cow with a calm presence and solid build. These are the kind of cows we enjoy living with — and the kind we’re proud to place with families who value quality over hype.

Living and working on the farm allows us to interact with our cattle daily. We spot new calves quickly, share photos with waiting families, and stay closely involved from birth until each calf goes home. Welcoming a new miniature calf — and introducing them to their future family — never gets old.

Florida Aberdeen Miniature Cattle

Florida Aberdeen Miniature cows are a refined, scaled-down version of the traditional cattle many remember from open pastures — thoughtfully sized for today’s smaller acreage while maintaining classic proportions and presence.

Designed for Modern Rural Living

Florida Aberdeen Minis integrate seamlessly into Florida’s rural and semi-rural landscapes. Their smaller footprint makes them well-suited for thoughtfully managed acreage, while their calm nature and efficiency align with a simpler, more intentional lifestyle.

Practical Family Milk Production

Once they have calved, Florida Aberdeen Mini cows can be milked to provide a dependable daily supply suitable for family use. Historically valued by Florida pioneer families, this lineage continues to offer practical, small-scale milk production without the demands of larger dairy breeds.

Efficient Grazers, Easy Keepers

These cattle can be comfortably stocked at approximately one to two per acre with year-round grazing. With supplemental hay or feed when needed, they help maintain pastures naturally while contributing valuable organic fertility to gardens and orchards.

Calm Temperament & Manageable Size

Florida Aberdeen Minis are non-aggressive, fencing-friendly, and easy to handle. Their size and disposition reduce many of the challenges associated with larger cattle, making them a safe and appealing choice for families, properties with children, and mixed-use homesteads.

Efficient Feed & Pasture Performance

Florida Aberdeen cattle perform exceptionally well on pasture and typically require minimal supplemental feed. Their efficient grazing habits make them well-suited for thoughtfully managed land, even during periods of pasture pressure or seasonal variation.

Predictable Miniature Sizing

Florida Aberdeen Minis mature within a clearly defined miniature range. Select animals may mature at micro-mini heights under 36 inches, while parent stock remains under 40 inches, maintaining balanced proportions without sacrificing structural integrity.

Ease of Herd Management

Florida Aberdeen Minis are purposefully line-bred for exceptional temperament, structural integrity, and reliably small stature.

Our genetics are carefully curated allowing each generation to mature inches smaller while preserving uniformity, soundness, and calm handling traits.

This consistency allows families to retain their female offspring and breed back to the established herd bull, removing the need for frequent bull replacement while maintaining predictable results. The result is simplified, sustainable breeding program designed for long term success.
