You can bring as many people as you like. The price is per person depending on the experience you select. You will need to call me or send me a text with a heads up if its more than a few people though. You can reach me at 386-689-5040 by text between 9 am and 9 pm.
Is there a per person charge?
Yes there is a online deposit to secure the time slot and a per person charge after the first person has reserved the CowTyme slot. Just reserve your time and give your group the information regarding date, time address and let them know we will collect their fee onsite.
Its hot! Can we bring snacks and refreshments?
Yes, feel free to bring what you like. CowTyme is always better if your people are fed and watered. We can provide a small cooler and Ice if you let me know in advance.
What should we wear?
It is important that you wear boots or close toed shoes to protect those toes. After that CUTENESS would come to mind as you will want to share those CowTyme photos with friends, family and on social media. Its also good time to pull out that western outfit and hat you never get to wear in the beach town.
Can we take pictures?
Why of course! Snap away and be sure to tag CowTyme on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and Yelp. If you want a professional photographer text me and I will forward you our associate CowTyme Photographer.
Once I make a reservation, is my payment refundable?
Your reservation payment is not refundable. However, If you would like to change the date or time message me and we will make it happen. I would like to know as soon as you do. So I can open that time slot and secure your next chosen time on the CowTyme calendar .
What if it rains?
Not to worry! We've got you covered. You will be dry inside the barn and yes the cows can come in too. You wont miss a minute of your CowTyme.
Can small children and babies participate?
We love children, children love cows. It is best if you bring the little ones during times that we have small calves in the barn.
Children can participate anytime... as long as you understand that even small cows are large enough to hurt you or your children. You must take safety seriously.
We will attempt to keep everyone safe but you are responsible for your safety and the safety of your children and must keep them in your reach at all times.
When reserving CowTyme you will be attesting that you have read:
Florida Statute 570.89 Limits the liability of agritourism operators for injuries or damages sustained by participants, provided those injuries result from the inherent risks of agritourism activities. Essentially, participants assume the risk of inherent dangers like those associated with land, equipment, and animals, as well as potential risks from your own actions.
The warning signs required by the State of Florida will be posted on the entry gate and in the CowTyme barn.
You will be signing a release of liability for yourself and your minor children on arrival.
So yes children can participate but it is a farm and mini cows are still cows. Use good judgement.
Are there some things we should know not to do?
There sure are. Please move slowly and quietly when approaching the cows. Never, scream, shout run or chase cows.
Be careful attempting to kiss a cow on the head... why you ask? if he moves just a bit and you accidentally get clonked in the nose you will never forget why. especially important for little ones, by nature they want to kiss farm animals on the head.
Can we feed them?
Sure can, Cows love to eat. We will provide a bag of cow cookies for each person and you can buy extra for a small fee.
